Dhanbad Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
The Dhanbad Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DSOG) is a respected professional body advancing women’s health, medical education and ethical practice in Jharkhand. Founded in 1976 as an offshoot of the Bihar–Patna Society, it became an independent platform for regional specialists. Established by Dr. Shanker Priya, Leena Priya, C. C. Hazra, Kublai Kumar and Aparna Kumar, DSOG is grounded in academic excellence, collaboration and community service, continuing to promote scientific progress, professional fellowship and improved healthcare for women and children.
